This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

A vintage movie poster of ''Kon-Tiki'', a Norwegian documentary film released in 1950, directed by Thor Heyerdahl. The film documents Heyerdahl's epic journey across the Pacific Ocean on a balsa wood raft called the Kon-Tiki, which he and his crew undertook to prove a theory about ancient South American migration to the Polynesian islands.
The film is a documentary account of Heyerdahl's daring expedition, which began in 1947 when he and a small crew set out from Peru on the Kon-Tiki, a raft constructed using materials and techniques believed to have been available to pre-Columbian South American civilizations. Heyerdahl's primary goal was to demonstrate that it was possible for ancient peoples to have crossed the Pacific Ocean from South America to Polynesia on similar rafts, challenging the prevailing academic theories of his time.
